The new book cover for Love is the Middle is finished! My oldest daughter, Lydia, and I worked hard to conceptualize and create it via a blend of old school and new school methods. Love is the Middle is the memoir of my relationship with my father, who died of cancer in 2009. It tells the story of what divided us during my teens and what brought us back together during my twenties, as well as our history and much more. For inspiration and in keeping with where we used to hang out, I wrote this book at various Steak n’ Shake locations and edited it at Waffle House over the last three years.
